My Pamper Evening

Now we all know everyone loooves a pamper evening every now and then. Whether it’s with your friends, brothers, sisters, your other half or even with your mom or dad. I know my mom loves a pampering, she might as well live in the spa near us and she’s always making me paint her nails haha.

It’s true that we really should be kind to our skin, especially our face. But we all know the struggles of things like moisturising your body, and for me it has to be done but it feels like such a chore. Although, if I know I’m planning to have a pamper then I make sure it’s as fun as possible, so by the end of it I don’t even mind moisturising or anything like that.

Soooo the other night I had myself a nice little pamper evening, and then I thought why not show you how I enjoy mine. Obviously not all pamper nights you have will be the exact same, for example I do use different bath bombs, different moisturisers on different evenings, it really all just depends how I’m feeling or whether I have a favourite certain something at the time.

The first thing I start off with is obviously running myself a nice hot bath. Getting those candles out and making it feel so much more cosy. This is one of my favourite things to do, especially around Autumn and Christmas time, bath after bath after bath. But with the weather like it is here in the UK at the moment it might as well be autumn or winter haha.

Now of course every bath needs some bubbles! This time I added the ‘Radox, Feel Pampered with Shea butter and ginger, Bath Soak‘, this stuff smells absolutely devine and creates the most amazing bubbles. You only need to use a very small amount of this though, so don’t go crazy or you will end up with a foam party in your bathroom! *party time* These Radox bath soaks are super cheap, I got this for as little as 90p from Superdrug (you can find them in most high street shops), so if you are on a budget I would definitely recommend them, plus they have so many other scents you can choose from.

After this I added my all time favourite ‘Honey Bee Bath Bomb‘ from Lush. This makes the water turn yellow, so it does look like you’ve had a wee in the bath, but don’t let that put you off because it certainly hasn’t put me off haha, I love it! Honestly, I can’t even explain how much I love this bath bomb, the sweet honey smell is out of this world and I love how silky smooth it makes you feel when you’re in the bath, uh, so amazing. Just be very careful when you’re getting out of the bath as it can make the bath very slippy.

Now this is all I did when it came to my bubble bath the other night, but I do a have a valid reason and that was because I was watching love island whilst I was in the bath haha.

Usually a face mask in the bath is always a good idea, but because I was so very busy and distracted with love island (oopsies) I decided to do this after. I wanted to stick with the whole sweet and honey theme, so I went for the ‘Manuka Honey Peel Off Mask‘. I must admit I’ve never been a huge fan of the packet masks, I’ve always much preferred the clay and mud ones which you can apply with either your hand or a brush. But I thought because I was having a Honey themed night, I would use it, plus it was a peel off mask and I find they are always easier to remove from your face.

Finally after the face mask was a success (wahoo!) and my face was feeling as smooth as a baby’s bottom, it was time to moisturise (that sounded so much like a story from a book haha). Usually I would cleanse, moisturise and all of that kind of stuff, but it was getting quite late so I only had time to moisturise. Using the one and only ‘Cocoa Butter Formula‘. Now I know pretty much every single one of you will have this somewhere in your house, we all have it right?! It smells oh so good.

And that my lovelies is the end of my pamper evening the other night! I also took all of my nail varnish off, it was getting very chippy so it just had to go.

I’m actually hoping that one day I will be able to pluck up the courage to maybe vlog my pamper evening. If that’s something you would like to see then please do let me know. I do love my pampers, so I will always have time to video one! 🙂

What bath bomb do you love? Or what is your most favourite moisturiser and face mask? I’d love to know to get some more ideas to add to mine.

I hope you’re all having a lovely day. 🙂
