Hello again! 🙂
Right, now, I know pretty much everyone has more or less reviewed this product and you might be getting pretty damn bored of it, reading the same thing over and over again, but I’m afraid that’s not going to stop me from writing about it haha.
So please enjoy this post and continue reading!
The fact is though I now know WHY so many people have been raving about this product. At first I would quickly notice it in the shops and say, “Oh there’s that weird water everyone is talking about”, walk straight past it and never think about it again. HOWEVER, the other week one of my favourite bloggers who I now class as a friend The Beauty Analyst, (whose blog you can go and check out if you click HERE..) wrote a blog post all about it and then I knew straight away I just had to look into it a bit more. The Beauty Analyst suggested I started off by buying the mini version just to see how I got on with it (which for me was a fantastic idea). Also while we are on the subject, I purchased this from Superdrug for £1.29 which I then found out was actually on sale, so normally it should be £1.99 BUT, I then found out from my mom (who also has this Micellar Water) that you can get the exact same mini one from the pound shop for a pound. I then went into Bodycare over the weekend and saw they had the exact same one again, but this time for 99p. So if you do want to try it out and get the mini version I would highly suggest you get it from either Bodycare or a Pound Shop near you.
Anyway I’m rambling again haha, moving on.. The first time I tried this was on Saturday and oh my goodness, I tell you what I’m never looking back! I’ve tried different liquid type makeup removers in the past and had no joy, but this is just something else. All you need is this Micellar Water and some cotton pads and you’re ready to go! Just simply apply it to the cotton pad and then gently start wiping your face, eyes and lip areas. If you look at the cotton pad you will notice straight away how easy and quickly it has started to remove your makeup, for me it was like a magic magnet. So I decided to have another little look online and read that this product contains micelles which act like magnets, so this stuff sure does live up to its expectations.
A big 10/10 from me!
One other thing I’ve had a bit of an issue with in the past when it comes to removing makeup, eye makeup especially, is how much the products have irritated my eyes and left them feeling itchy and sore. So this is another big reason I get on so well with this Micellar Water, due to the fact it is completely perfume free so sensitive souls like me don’t need to worry about suffering from the itchy aftermath.
So if you’re looking to try a new makeup remover I would HIGHLY recommend you try the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, if you haven’t already of course. I sure know what I’ll be going to repurchase when this one runs out, I might even go the whole hog and go for the full-sized version. We shall have to wait and see. 😉
I hope you have had a great read, now go and carry on having the best day! 🙂
