WELCOME, to the second instalment of my ‘Boots Bonanza’ posts, do come in my lovely ones. Grab yourself a cuppa and let’s get started!
If you read my previous post (if not, you can find it here) then you will be fully aware that I am a Boots addict and of course I wanted to show you everything I bought, but in a few separate blog posts, YAY more reading!

The first instalment was based around skincare, now the second is all about Makeup, Sleek Makeup to be precise. Now I’m sure you have all heard of this makeup brand, if you haven’t then you must go and check it out! If you love your blushes like me, then I promise you won’t be disappointed.

If you are anything like me, then you will have just scrolled through the pictures above and have instantly said “WOW” at the first glance of those colours (especially the blush palette on the left), I mean c’mon how could you not?! Even the packaging is lovely!

Blush By 3 Palette – Lace

You may have already guessed (or maybe not), but this is by far my fave purchase out of the two. If you straight away look at this palette and think “What’s the big deal?”, then I’m really not quite sure how else to make you fall in love with it if a picture showing you it in all it’s true glory isn’t selling it for you!
Sleek blushes have ALWAYS and forever will be my favourite kind of blushes.
The cute little mirrored compact (which is easy as pie to travel with btw), the highly pigmented colours and of course their simple but super cute names.

Let’s get on with discussing the colours then shall we?
So from left to right we have, Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly. & if you didn’t already know, all three colour names are actually different types of LACE, yes LACE.. and what was this palette called again?! I think you know where I’m going with this one don’t you? 😉

First off, I would describe the shade
Crochet as a beautiful orange, peachy looking matte colour. I’ve never actually worn this colour blush before, but I’ve heard that orangey, peach colours warm up your complexion the way a bronzer would. However, orange blush is also great when paired with a bronzer. So I’m extremely excited to try this one out!

Moving onto my favourite shade out of the 3, Guipure! This is the only shimmer shade in the palette and oh my WOW, I still cannot get over how amazingly beautiful this colour is!! It is evidently a pink colour but it has a lovely warm gold shimmer to it as well and is highly pigmented (you can see in the pic below), so I’m even more excited about trying this second one out!

Now, last but by no means least we have the shade Chantilly, the second matte blush. This is more of a hot pink colour. To me this is the shade I would wear on those cold, chilly winter days to help give my cheeks a slightly rose colour so it purposely looks as though there is a slight chill in the air.

Eye & Cheek Palette – A Midsummer’s Dream

You can instantly tell the difference in colour from this eye and cheek palette too the blush palette. The blush had much more vibrant shades, whereas this one has more neutral, autumnal, winter shades. As soon as I see the colours in this palette and read the name ‘A Midsumer’s Dream’, the first thing that pops into my head is Halloween. (Now let’s not get started on how much we all love Halloween, otherwise this post is never going to end!).

Back to the palette, the two bigger shades are for the cheeks and the four smaller ones are for the eyes. I am in love with the dark shimmery purple in the bottom left corner, out of all of them this would be the perfect eye colour for a Halloween outfit with a dark berry lip, ooOoOoOoOOoOoh now I’m really getting excited for Halloween! Uuh, curse these colours that remind me of everything that we still have to wait for!!

Well I’m afraid that is it for now! Yet again I have managed to create a very chatty blog post, I just can’t seem to help but ramble these days haha.
But as long as you’re enjoying it, I’m more than happy to write it!

Tell me what your favourite blushes are in the comments & what Makeup you would wear for Halloween and on those cold winter days?

Enjoy the rest of your day my lovelies and make sure you have the best day ever! 🙂
