September Faves

Hello you lovely lot! Where the heck is this year going?! Can someone please tell me because it is scaring the living day lights out of me. It is literally like I blinked during January and now suddenly its October, WHAT EVEN?!!
As much as I love picking out my favourite things from the month, it is something I wish wouldn’t come along quite as quick as it has. But hey, on the plus side Halloween and Christmas are slowly (but quickly) creeping up on us, so I am even MORE excited for next months favourites… lots of pumpkin scented candles and spider webs YAY!

I must admit my favourites this month are a bit of a miss match of everything, but I have been OBSESSED with each and every single one of them.

3 Cute Notepads – TKMaxx, £3.99

These 3 very cute little pastel coloured notepads should be in ALL of my favourite posts from now and forever. I am currently using the notepad on the right with the 3 arrows on the front of it. They came in a pack of 3 and the reason I bought these was because I wanted a small pad I could keep in my handbag, so when I’m out and about and I get some inspiration for a blog post or a YouTube video I will whip this out of my bag and write it down there and then. The one I’m using now is almost full….money well spent!

The Girl on the Train Book – Asda, £4

If you follow me on twitter then you will know just how obsessed I have been with this book during the last week or so. It took me 3, count ’em 3 days to read the whole thing! That has got to be my own personal world record for finishing a book, yay go me!!
You’ve probably heard so many people going on about this certain book, so surely that must mean something, right?! I’m telling you now it was FAN-TAS-TIC to read, I promise you I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole thing.

Fresh Cut Gardenia, 3 Wick Candle – TKMaxx, £6.99

Now the nights are getting darker and the air is getting colder, there is nothing better than getting home after a long day, jumping into your comfy clothes and lighting a few candles around the house. THIS beauty has been my go to candle throughout the whole of September, but last week it ran out on me and I was actually quite sad about it.

See! GONE 😦
The only problem with buying things from TKMaxx is that you will never find the same thing twice. I knew if I went back to try to find it I would be disappointed, but that didn’t stop me looking. But yes, I was disappointed and didn’t manage to find it.
The thing I loved about this candle was how strong the scent was and how it could fill the room within seconds of being lit. The best way to describe the smell would be to just imagine yourself standing right in the middle of a bed of flowers, it was exactly like that and I flipping loved it.

No7 Gel Finish – Pink Mocha

I won’t ramble on too much with this one as I’ve dedicated a whole blog post to this varnish which you can read if you click HERE. This has been my most worn nail colour during this month, I just love it, the colour, the finish, the speed it drys at, everything! I mean c’mon just look at that gold shimmer, what’s not to love?!

Pure Devotion Perfume – New Look, £7.99

This product has also featured in another one of my posts which was my July Faves, so you can click HERE for that one. However you will notice in that post the bottle wasn’t empty like this one! Another empty favourite, oh how sad 😦
I don’t usually go for the cheaper perfume options but after trying this one, I am so glad I let myself try it. It’s such a welcoming, fresh scent which I am without a doubt going to be repurchasing.

Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Lipstick, Coffee Craze – Boots, £6.99

When it comes to lipsticks I am the biggest matte, nude lip girl you will ever meet. My lipstick collection really doesn’t have a massive variety of colour, it is quite boring to be honest.. but that’s just the way I like it, plain and nude.. oh and this is my new favourite lipstick fo’ she’, even the name is fab. Also I love the smell of these lipsticks, they smell delicious.

Real Techniques Powder Brush – Boots, £12.99

Yes, this one is an expensive one but in normal circumstances I would never buy a brush for this price. Long story short, it was my birthday, I received a Boots gift voucher, so I treated myself to something I had never had before, the end 🙂
This is why I have added this brush to my favourites, I have never had one before and it is absolutely amazeballs and super duper soft.

Pandora Ring, Peridot Birth Stone

Last but not least we have MY ALL TIME FAVE RING. My lovely better half got me this for my birthday last month, but I must admit I had hinted quite a few times beforehand just how much I needed to have it in my life haha. I have worn this ring religiously, but I will always take it off if I know it will get damaged or lost in a certain situation.
It is very special to me as it has my birth stone in it. People always say how gross the colour Peridot is, but I actually quite like it, it’s a kind of greeny/yellow colour, obviously not too everyone’s taste but personally I find it different and I’m glad it’s my birth stone colour. 🙂

If you have made it this far, THANK YOU… YOU REALLY ARE THE BEST.
I always tell myself I won’t make a blog post where I just ramble on and on, but nope I don’t think that is ever going to happen, especially when it comes to my monthly favourites.

But again, thank you so much for reading this post. I would LOVE to know what your September favourites are.
I hope you have the best day ever and remember to be happy, smile and stay positive.

Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂 xo

OMG IT IS FANTASTIC ISNT IT! I’m so glad you love it just as much! & I can’t wait to see the film either, hopefully it’s just as good but somehow I don’t think it will be as good as the book xo
