REVIEW: BOURJOIS MAXI DELIGHT BRONZER

I have been using the same bronzer (Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder) for far too long now and I think my eyes have gotten so used to seeing it on my cheeks that I barely see a difference anymore. So a couple of weeks ago I popped into my local Boots store and bought this beauty… the Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer and have happily used it ever since.

It’s called ‘Maxi’ because of its size, it might not look it but this is actually bigger than the palm of my hand. I have never owned a bronzer that is such an amazing hefty size until now.

The first obvious thing you notice is the pattern imprinted in the bronzer, which I thought was such a cute little extra because if you’re going to be using something everyday you want something pretty to look at, right? Also the smell, Bourjois bronzers always tend to have a delicious smell to them and this one is no different, it’s like a sweet, coconut scent.

The shade is called ‘Olive/Tanned Skin‘ which is basically the skin tone everyone wants to have! As you can see it is an extremely pigmented bronzer so it is best to use it in moderation, otherwise your cheeks and neck are going to be a completely different colour from the rest of your body (which isn’t always the best look, actually no, it never is).
The pictures really don’t do this bronzer much justice because what you can’t see is the beautiful glints of gold it has in it, which look even more gorgeous when you look at it with the sun bouncing off it. Which is also quite fitting really because if you look at blue words around the edge of the packaging it says “All-Year Round Sunkissed Bronzing Powder”.

I would definitely give this product a 10/10, I can see such a difference between this and my old bronzer and that is exactly what I wanted and hopefully it will last me twice as long because of how mahooosive it is. Oh and I really like the packaging, it just looks like such a classy container.

I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
