Lately I haven’t been getting on so well with my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, which is a real shame because it has been my go to makeup remover for almost the last year or so.
It has been perfect for removing my foundation etc. but it has really started to irritate my eyes, leaving them feeling very sore and looking really red and puffy.

So I did a little research and found out that the skincare brand Simple believe all skin is sensitive skin and not just a skin type restricted to some people, which sounded perfect. Then all of a sudden I found myself in Boots down the skincare aisle looking at the Simple products, oops.

I managed to pick up a few things which I will be doing reviews for another time, but for now I really wanted to talk to you about the one that has really stood out to me which is the ‘Simple Kind to Eyes Nourishing Eye Makeup Remover Cream’ for £3.49 (such affordable products!).

It is a 100ml bottle which I think is a great size and the lid is at the bottom, so you don’t need to worry about keep turning the bottle upside down to get the product out.
All I do is squeeze a tiny bit out onto a cotton pad and then gently start wiping it around my eye in circular motions and within seconds my eye makeup has dissolved onto the cotton pad.

In all honestly I was shocked at how quickly it removed my makeup. Compared to the Garnier Micellar Water this product removed it 10x faster and I only had to use 1 cotton pad for each eye, whereas I will usually have to use a couple to make sure all of the makeup has gone.

If you suffer from sore, puffiness around the eyes, then I would highly recommend you try out this product to remove your eye makeup. I think because it’s a cream it is a lot more soothing on the eyes and it left mine feeling very soft and hydrated with no redness to worry about.
So this product definitely gets a 10/10 for me.

I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
