I’m pretty sure the Garnier Micellar Water has been a big part of our skincare routines for quite some time now, meaning that everyone is probably sick and tired of hearing about it.
However, this post is kind of different in the sense that I wanted to compare it to another product I have been using and then share my thoughts with you on which one I prefer.

So we have the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water, both of which are designed to do the exact same job, cleanse your skin whilst removing any makeup.

I have quite a love/hate relationship with the Garnier water at the moment. I have always loved it and stood by it no matter what but recently it just seems to hate me. It has been irritating my eyes so much, leaving them red, puffy and making them sting, but I won’t go into too much detail about that because I kind of wrote about my eyes on another post the other day, so if you are interested in reading that then you are more than welcome to do so HERE

So in a nutshell the Garnier water didn’t treat my skin so well after a while, so I went out and bought myself the ‘Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water‘ from Boots.
After using this for a few weeks I have noticed such a difference from the other product, the Simple water leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and so much smoother which has also made me realise how much the Garnier water dried my skin out and I don’t have to use half as many cotton wool pads as I did, sometimes I only need to use just the one for my whole face!

So as you’ve probably guessed it by now I am team Simple all the way. My skin has thanked me so much for using this and it doesn’t irritate any part of my face, so a huge 10/10 from me.

I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
