If you are lovely enough to follow me on Twitter then you will know that me and Darren went to Edinburgh last week and we fell in love with it, it is such a beautiful place to be.
So like always when I visit somewhere, I have to take lots of pictures for my blog.
You may notice quite a few of these photos are of food, but c’mon you have to try out new foods when you go away somewhere, right? So anyway, please enjoy 🙂
If you are ever visiting Edinburgh I would highly recommend that you visit the Camera Obscura, it is simply a fun-filled tower with so many different illusions you can play around with.
You also NEED to take the time out to go and visit Cuckoo’s Bakery because their cupcakes are out of this world and like no cupcake you have ever tried before, YUM.
I also had American Styled Pancakes for breakfast on the Wednesday, they were GOOD.
We even went to the top of Scotts Monument and were able to see some breathtaking views.
I know it’s a love hate kind of food but me and Darren love haggis and even though we eat it at home, we couldn’t leave Scotland without having some there. This was so delicious!
Aaaand the star of the show has to be this deep-fried Mars bar! It was one of the yummiest things I ate all week, I’ve said I much prefer this to a normal Mars chocolate bar. To me this was very similar to a crepe, it had the same warm soft outside and a chocolate gooey centre.
I hope you enjoyed this little ‘photo album’ type post. I just had to post about the beautiful city of Edinburgh, I already miss it so much and can’t wait to go back again.
I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
