A couple of weeks ago I very sadly ran out of my Dr Botanicals facial oil, the only oil I have ever found that keeps my skin feeling super silky soft, especially over the last few months.

So my latest visit to our local Boots store was just me searching for nothing but a new oil for my skin, which was slowly getting drier by the day (uuurgh, my idea of grossness!).
I’ll be honest and tell you I spent a good 20 minutes to half an hour looking for something new, I just couldn’t make my mind up. Then oh wow, I found this beauty… L’oréal’s Extraordinary Oil.

I went into Boots convinced that I was looking for an oil based product, however you know they sometimes have those ‘Try Me’ shelves above all the products, well they kind of had one above the L’oréal stand where I found this ‘Oil-Cream’ which I thought sounded quite interesting.

It looks and feels just like a normal moisturiser but it has a bit more of a wet but not too wet consistency, if you get what I mean? I didn’t want to take a picture of me applying the product to my face because at the price of £14.99 this is the most expensive skincare product I have ever bought in my life and because I love it, yes, I am definitely going to be quite stingy with it.

As well as absolutely loving this product for keeping my skin just as soft as my Dr Botanicals oil, I also love the luxurious looking packaging. It’s in this cute little square glass jar with a gorgeous mirrored gold lid, I mean if gold and glass doesn’t scream luxury then I’m not sure what does.

So I’m definitely going to give this a 10/10.. the product really does leave my skin feeling super soft, it smells amazing and doesn’t leave my skin feeling and looking extra greasy aaaaand every single inch of the packaging is to die for. So I mean c’mon, what’s not to love, really?

I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
