REVIEW: ‘TEAPIGS’ FLAVOURED TEAS

I’ve been so excited to review and photograph these teas ever since I ordered them, which was probably about 3 weeks ago now. But I have finally done it, tried, tested and now for the truth!

The question is, did I actually like any of them?

Chocolate & Mint? Yes, one million percent yes! This one has to be my favourite of all five different flavours. Personally it was just like a cup of Aero chocolate, you know the chocolate with the green inside, the minty part. No exaggerations over here, it really did taste like Aero.

Chocolate Flake Tea? Now this one did taste like chocolate but a very fruity kind of chocolate. I think the only way I could describe it would be like the Fruit and Nut Dairy Milk you can buy from the shops, it kind of reminded me of that a little bit. I did really enjoy it though.

Rhubarb & Ginger? Honestly? Absolutely hated it. As soon as I took a sip it was really tangy and bitter, now I don’t usually mind bitter tastes but this was just too much for my taste buds.

Spiced Winter Red Tea? Again, I absolutely hated it and I’m really struggling to describe the flavour of it. There was one really overpowering flavour that just did not agree with me at all, it was kind of like a wine taste with a hint of chemical? I know that will make absolutely no sense to anyone but it’s the best way I can describe it right now, I just didn’t like it.

Popcorn? Hmmm, now I have very mixed reviews on this one. I honestly thought it was going to be a sweet flavour but it tasted extremely savoury and nutty. I won’t say I dislike it because I don’t, I’m just not quite sure how I feel about it. I guess you could call it an acquired taste.

And the winner is… Chocolate & Mint! Wahoooo! Will definitely be ordering this bad boy again.

I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
