Overnight Oats recipes are literally everywhere these days, every recipe book will most likely have them and there are just so many different types you can make, they’re just so popular.
I went for a rather simple ‘Blueberry Overnight Oats’ recipe which I then added Banana to, so I guess now you can call it a ‘Banana & Blueberry Overnight Oats’ recipe, oh how adventurous!
THE NIGHT BEFORE…
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Almond Milk (unsweetened)
1/4 Cup Natural Yoghurt
1/4 Cup Fresh Blueberries
1/4 Cup Fresh Banana
1 Tablespoon Honey
It is so simple. You just put all of the above ingredients into a jar or a plastic container (either will do, it doesn’t really matter), then leave the oats to soak in the fridge overnight.
THE NEXT MORNING…
Then you wake up in the morning and enjoy a lovely and yummy, healthy breakfast!
You don’t have to stick to the ingredients I have given you, by all means you can add or take away anything you so wish to. After all it is your breakfast, so it’s completely up to you.
