REVIEW: CLINIQUE CLEANSING BALM

This post is a very exciting one for me as this is the first time I have ever purchased a Clinique product, I mean if I could personally afford to use every Clinique product out there for my skincare routine then trust me I would, but for now I am going to enjoy this cleansing balm.

Before I start talking about the product itself, I just want to point out how beautiful the actual packaging is. The pot itself is such a beautiful transparent purple colour with white writing and then to top it off (pardon the pun, if that was even a pun) it has a lovely silver mirrored lid.

So this is the ‘Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm‘, which I also think is an amazing name for a makeup remover because you basically are taking your days worth of makeup off haha… I’m so lame I know, sorry. However it doesn’t just take off your foundation, it takes off your eye makeup and lipstick too. I was shocked at just how easily it melts away your mascara!

You only need a little pinch of the balm for it to remove your whole face of makeup. As soon as you start rubbing it into your face it turns into an oil, so as you can imagine the product itself spreads out a lot more over your face. I did try to take the picture to show you how little of the product I have used so far but the lighting just wasn’t on my side for these certain pictures.
The balm also doesn’t have a strong scent, it is a very subtle fresh scent which I absolutely love. There is nothing worse than a beautiful product with a very overpowering smell.

I’m going to give this a 10/10 and a 15/10 for being an extremely photogenic product!

I hope you have the best day & be happy.
Lots of love, Xandra Rose 🙂
